FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Rachael is a Colorado native (depending on your definition of native) who earned her bachelors and masters degrees in theology from Ave Maria University. Since first sharing her testimony in college, Rachael has had the privilege of hearing dozens of beautiful stories of healing from sexual addiction, and is pursuing certification in sexual addiction therapy. Rachael married her husband, Tommy, in 2021. They now live in Tampa, FL, with their two children, where they enjoy the beach (almost) as much as they enjoy the mountains. Her book, Love in Recovery, is available through Ave Maria Press.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF CONTENT AND MARKETING

Shelby is a graduate of Ave Maria University (AMU) with a B.A. in communications and a minor in psychology. Her passions include capturing the Lord’s Creation through her photography, and indulging in movies, books, and music (especially Lord of the Rings). She’s originally from Michigan but currently lives in Naples, FL, where she works as Internal Communications Manager & Lead Photographer for AMU.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF FORMATION

Annie is a graduate of Marywood University with her B.S. and M.S. in nutrition and dietetics and is a Registered Dietitian (RDN). Before going full-time with Magdala in August 2024, Annie served as a full-time missionary with Damascus Catholic Mission in Centerburg, OH. She is passionate about authentic worship, the Wisconsin cheese bites from Sheetz, and performing subpar cartwheels in public. She is a sucker for a good icebreaker question and loves walking with women as they experience new freedom in Jesus.
